1. Somewhere on my Facebook, I have a photo of an empty phone booth in Ruidoso, NM. I'd laid my cell phone at the base of it just as a fun photo of irony, I guess. Cell phones have people permanently attached to each other without being attached to each other. One of my former students posted the other night that she was bored and asked who wanted to text. I posted a question. "Why don't you use the phone to actually talk to each other instead?"
